Privacy Policy
Effective September 30, 2026
LTGO — Looking to Get Out is operated by Christopher Salm. LTGO helps members organize golf and other activities, communicate with one another, and invite guests. This policy explains how information is handled in the LTGO app and its invitation pages.
Information you provide
- Account and profile: your email address, account identifier, sign-in provider, display name, and optional profile photo, home club, handicap, hosting preference and playing areas. Apple may provide a private relay email address when you choose Hide My Email.
- Plans and participation: availability, rounds and activities, dates, times, places, invitations, responses, Circles, Groups, connections and preferences.
- Communications: comments, direct and Group messages, guest names and responses, support requests, reports and blocking choices.
Device information and permissions
We process authentication sessions, notification delivery tokens and service logs needed to operate, protect and troubleshoot LTGO. Service providers may receive network information such as IP addresses when your device connects.
Optional photo access lets you choose a profile image. Optional calendar access lets LTGO add or update confirmed activities on your device. Optional notifications alert you to invitations and updates. You can decline or change these permissions in your device settings. LTGO does not need your entire photo library or personal calendar contents uploaded to provide these features. Playing areas can be entered manually.
How information is used
We use information to authenticate you, manage membership, show appropriate activities and availability, coordinate invitations and responses, provide messaging and notifications, maintain calendar links, prevent abuse, investigate reports and support the service.
Who can see information
Profile details and activity information are shown to members according to the feature and audience you choose. Direct messages are shared with their participants; Group messages are shared with the Group. People with a private guest invitation link can view the details made available through that link and submit a response. Keep invitation links private. Authorized administrators may access information needed to manage membership, investigate safety reports or provide support.
Service providers
LTGO uses Supabase for authentication, database and file storage, and Expo for app hosting and notification delivery. Apple and Google process sign-in when you choose their services; Apple and Google also provide device notification infrastructure where applicable. These providers process information needed to deliver their services. We require providers processing information on our behalf to protect it through appropriate confidentiality and security safeguards and to use it for the service they provide. Processing may occur in countries other than where you live.
LTGO does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
Optional Caddie AI planning
Caddie uses OpenAI to generate planning suggestions and is optional. Before sending a planning request, the app asks for permission. Your description, replies and current draft are sent to OpenAI. LTGO does not automatically include your contact list, private messages or invitation links. Information you type or paste into your description, replies or draft, including notes, may be sent to OpenAI.
To withdraw permission for new requests, open Caddie → AI privacy → Turn off OpenAI planning. This keeps the conversation on this screen; it does not remove information already sent to OpenAI. Voice input uses your device's speech service to transcribe your words; LTGO does not save your voice recording. If you turn on read-aloud, OpenAI generates spoken versions of Caddie's questions. The controls let you stop dictation or turn off read-aloud. Declining AI assistance does not prevent manual planning. Review AI suggestions before saving or sharing them.
Saved itineraries and trip tools
LTGO keeps read-only copies of up to 30 accessible trips on your device for up to seven days after syncing. Copies include schedules, entered addresses, notes and reservation details, saved attendee names and responses, and available weather. They are separated by account and environment, removed on sign-out, and reconciled with your accessible trips when you reconnect. Offline copies may not reflect recent cancellations or revoked access; reconnect to verify. Invitation credentials and account permissions are not included. Change summaries compare saved versions on this device, not a server-wide audit history. Updates leave LTGO only when you choose to share or copy them. Directions send the entered activity location to your maps app; that provider controls its own location permissions and routing. Travel buffers and packing suggestions are planning aids, not live traffic or weather-safety guarantees.
Weather and playing-time suggestions
When you view round or trip weather, or request playing-time suggestions, LTGO uses the entered course, town or destination name with Photon/OpenStreetMap to find forecast coordinates and requests forecasts from the U.S. National Weather Service. These services receive the destination or coordinates and ordinary network information, such as your IP address. We do not send your availability, friends, trip name, itinerary notes, guest list, invitation links or account credentials with weather requests. Availability matching and forecast-based ranking happen on your device. Suggestions are planning aids, not tee-time bookings or weather guarantees. This feature uses the destination you entered, not your device's GPS location. A selected forecast location may be saved on your device. Weather included in an exported itinerary is a dated snapshot.
Retention and account deletion
We keep account and activity information while it is needed to provide LTGO. You can edit your profile, remove supported content, change notification or calendar settings, and block or report other members.
To delete an active account, open Clubhouse → Delete Account and complete the confirmation. Newer builds also offer Delete Account on the invitation-pending and membership-unavailable screens. If your installed build prevents access to deletion, contact support@ltgo.app for assistance.
Deletion removes private profile files and participation data and deidentifies your profile and authored text. Shared conversations and rounds may retain neutral “Deleted Member” placeholders so other members' records remain coherent. Limited invitation, safety, support and deletion audit records may be retained when needed for security, resolving disputes or legal obligations. Service backups and logs follow the providers' retention cycles. Signing out or uninstalling the app alone does not delete your account.
Your choices and contact
You may request access, correction or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@ltgo.app. We may need to verify that the request concerns your account. Do not send passwords. Privacy rights vary by location.
LTGO is a general-audience coordination service and is not directed at children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization.
